Shou Mei (寿眉) is one of the low ranking white teas in the white tea family hierarchy due to the amount of mature tea leaves included and harvested later than Silver Needle and White Peony.
Shou Mei however has its own characteristics such as: high aroma, with most ageing potential, multiple infusions, pleasant aftertaste and the tea can be both infused or boiled etc. It is much loved by certain tea drinkers, especially in area like Hong Kong, who enjoy the unique mature white tea flavour.
This is a premium Shou Mei white tea organically produced in the core white tea country, Fuding of the Fujian province. It has its own characteristics of mature white tea leaves and much loved by certain tea drinkers. This is a premium Shou Mei ready to be consumed fresh, or aged for future consumption.
