Buy loose leaf Pu-erh tea

Loose leaf Pu-erh tea is also called Maocha (毛茶) - the leaves processed but before being compressed into Pu-erh cakes, bricks or Tuocha. We offers a range of premium loose Pu-erh tea Maocha, raw or ripened, of different ages and quality grades for the Pu-erh lovers who prefer not to deal with them in the  compressed form.

Pu-erh teas have traditionally been made into compressed form, namely cakes, bricks or TuoCha or nuggets. There is however an additional step to deal with the compressed form tea - breaking it up before using. Certain customers would prefer to purchase them in the loose form like other teas for the convenience purpose.

The benefits of loose Pu-erh tea Maocha

Loose Pu-erh tea Maocha has the following benefits:

  1. easy to use
  2. often single estate
  3. ferment just as well as cakes, bricks or Tuocha about 4-5 years after their production

What we offer

Valley Green Tea offers a range of loose Pu-erh tea Maocha to our customers: both raw and ripened.
