Dian Hong is a family of premium Chinese black teas, produced in the Yunnan province.
This Dian Hong black tea cake is made of Gu Shu (tea trees of over 100 years old) tea leaves harvested and compressed in 2017. The tea leaves are sun dried, producing a special sun natural refreshing aroma. The Yunnan Dian Hong black tea cakes are known to have a combination of black tea's aroma and pu-erh tea mellow texture. The tea brew has a hint of honey and fruit. It's compressed nature facilitates its storage.
