The fine green tea Bi Luo Chun

Bi Luo Chun is one of the top three Chinese teas. Produced in the JiangSu Province, DongTing lake area. The tea is made from the very fine tips of the tea leaves using a traditional and highly skillful process. The tender tea leaves are so fine that 0.5kg of the dry tea can contains up to 60,000 - 70,000 tea leaves. The dry tea leaves have a spiral shape covered by the very fine white down - the result of dried tender tip leaves. The name Spring Snail is after its appearance with various Chinese ancient tales to describe its exquisite aroma and taste.

‘Elegantly slim, spiral shape, fluffy down, flowery fragrance and fruity taste' are the terms the locals use to describe the tea. When made in a glass vessel, the elegant tea leaves seethe as white clouds rolling, accompanied by the fragrant steam, this tea certainly deserves its reputation. It is considered to be one of the finest Chinese teas and frequently used for gifting.
