Pu-erh glutinous rice mini Tuocha - Ripened

This is a ripened Pu-erh mini TuoCha blended with the glutinous rice grass (Semnostachya menglaensis H. P. Tsui.). Glutinous rice grass is a highly priced fragrant herb produced in the Yunan Province. It has long been used by the locals for its unique glutinous rice fragrance and many health benefits. The dry leaves can be consumed as a herbal tea alone - a special local delicacy, or used in blends or extract to flavour other foods. 

Like jasmine known to blend harmoniously with green tea, glutinous rice Pu-erh tea is an established blend. The earthy flavour of aged Pu-erh is somehow 'smoothed' by the gentle yet elegant aroma of the glutinous rice grass to form a unique combination, to sourish and indulge.
