Each tea is a genuine, well-known name, packed as a generous tasting portion — around 162.5g total, enough for many pots of each.

What a great discovery pack and even better service. The service alone was enough to have me wanting to make another purchase. I won't review all the teas in the discovery pack however I did have some favourites.

1. Da Hong Pao: This knocked the ball out of the park and really sparked my love for everything 'dark oolong'. It's got a full body and plenty of top notes/fragrance as well. I'll definitely be ordering a larger quantity.

2. Jasmine Pearls: Another fantastic tea. Very fragrant and especially good for guests who you want to introduce to tea. I also found the flavour and ease of brewing much better than the Snow White Bouquet.

3. Lapsang Souchong: Solid everyday black/red tea. It's hard not to like this. As far as safe but tasty black tea goes, this is a fantastic pick.

At the end of the day I think this discovery pack is quite good to dip your toes. It helped me decide the taste profiles I actually enjoy instead of buying way too much of something I don't like.

Besides the teas included in the pack, some extra samples were included in my order which was very nice.
