Pu-erh tea ripened brick 250g-2013

This is a premium Pu-erh (Puer) ripened brick of 250g, made of tea leaves harvested from Meng-Hai area of the Yunnan province - one of Pu-erh teas' core production areas.

The leaves of this Pu-erh were harvested in 2013 and have had more than 6 years of natural ageing and fermentation. It is a premium ripened pu-erh tea for daily consumption, with a rich date aroma and very smooth texture. It's brew has a bright and deep amber colour.

Please note:

this is an aged pu-erh tea that has been stored in a storage for many years before coming onto the market. The paper wrappings of the pu-erh teas are traditionally made very thin to facilitate the tea’s post fermentation process - to allow them to ‘breath’ through. There is therefore an extreme high chance that the paper wrapping is not 100% intact after the many years of storage and the long distance transportation that followed.

Valley Green Tea guidelines:

• Products with small tearing on the packaging are considered as ‘intact’ products, provided there is no product loss (part of the cakes or bricks chipped off as a result) upon our inspection at the warehouse
• Products with severe tearing on the packaging will be listed under packaging damaged products with a 15% discount on the products
• We will do whatever is within our capacity to ensure no further damage is caused during the shipping from our warehouse to our customers.
