This is a Pu-erh raw cake with the tea leaves harvested from around the Xiaohuzhai village of the Mengku area, known for its authentic Gushu (ancient tea tree) clusters. The cake is a relatively young cake made of all full leaves. The tea leaves are rich dark green in color with abundant silver tip leaves. It has a soft bitter note at the start, quickly turning into Hui-Gan. The tea leaves can last up to 15 infusions, with consistent mellow sweet flavor after the first a few steeps. It is a cake with vigorous energy, ideal for collection to age further - a journey of growth and discovery.
It is also an economic investment, buying teas young (relatively cheap) and enjoy the aged quality in the future.
