This is the real star of the show. Raw Pu-erh changes and improves beautifully over time. Because this batch has been carefully aged since 2014, the natural earthy flavours have matured brilliantly. The rough edges of the young tea have completely smoothed out, leaving a complex, mellow, and deeply rewarding cup.

How to brew it right:

Because this is a compressed, aged Pu-erh, you treat it a little differently than a standard tea bag. 

• The Rinse: Pop one mini tuocha into your teapot or mug. Pour freshly boiled water over it, wait about 5 to 10 seconds, and pour that first water straight away. This "wakes up" the tightly compressed, aged leaves.

• The Brew: Add fresh boiling water and let it steep for about 30 seconds to a minute before drinking.

• Keep it going: Don't throw the leaf away after one cup! A high-quality aged Pu-erh like this can easily be re-steeped 3 or 4 times. Just add a little more time with each pour.
