Silver Needle white tea cake

White teas are consumed traditionally both fresh and aged. Fresh seasonal white teas are light and extremely refreshing, while aged white teas are considered to have their unique health benefits. They were once used, for example, as an anti-fever herbal remedy for virus infections before the modern medicine era.

This premium white tea cake was manufactured to facilitate the later of above.

There tea leaves were harvested in Yun-Nan from areas where the premium Pu-erh teas are produced. The premium leaves were from ancient tea trees, processed as a unique Yunnan white tea Yue-Guang-Bai (Moon Light white). The tea cakes use however only the tip needle leaves. They tea cakes have been stored under dry storage and aged naturally since 2017, yielding a mature aged white tea thick and rich aroma and texture. It is nourishing to be consumed immediately or aged further.  

The cake is described to have a light honey fragrant sweetness, very easy to consume.
