This is a Yixing Zisha teapot made of the premium Zisha clay Zhuni, in a classic design of Xishi.

The teapot is semi-handmade by Yixing Zisha artists. It is a teapot design that captures many beautiful aspects of Yixing Zisha artwork: simple yet authentic with a rich and full body outline design and a steady classic base. 

The teapot has a sleek and uninterrupted water pouring motion. 

Xi-Shi Chinese teapot design

'Xi-Shi-Hu' is a classic Chinese teapot design, named after the ancient Chinese beauty 'Xi-Shi'. This teapot design has classically a round shape with a very smooth outline and short sprout. It is an art work of simplicity, authenticity and oriental legacy.

Zhuni clay

Zhuni (朱泥) is a variety of Zini (紫泥). It has a rich deep red color. It is know for its fine texture, but hander to handle than other clay varieties. The clay shrinks more during their firing, often results in more breakage.
