Oval Gong Fu Tea Tray – Lightweight Melamine, Walnut Bamboo-Grain
A compact oval tea tray with a warm walnut bamboo-grain finish and a carved Chinese fretwork grate in the centre.
The fretwork pattern is a classic motif in Chinese design, and it gives the tray a quietly traditional look.
A little different from our usual trays:
Most of our tea trays are solid bamboo.
This one is our lightweight version, with a durable melamine base instead.
It’s light to lift, won’t warp or crack from hot water, and is easy to empty and rinse at the sink.
That makes it a good choice if you brew every day, or want a tray you can tuck away after use.

Material: melamine base with a walnut bamboo-grain finish Top
Drainage: storage base, holds about 2.2L. Lift off the top to empty, rinse and dry.
Best for: everyday gongfu brewing for two to four, with a gaiwan or small teapot and a few cups. Light enough to move easily, and compact enough for a small table.
Pair it with a Chinese tea set or gaiwan to complete your gongfu setup.
