This is a premium Chinese Gaiwan made of a top grade De-Hua ceramic called Yang-Zhi-Yu (羊脂玉 - butter jade). This unique ceramic is made from a special clay of De-Hua, known to have a special mineral composition. The products are known for their silky soft texture and natural light cream clour, which is believed to mimic that of the premium butter Jade. The production of Yang-Zhi-Yu requires high level of craftsman skills and the breakage rate during their making is relatively high.
It can be used almost all tea varieties.
