Chinese Wedding Tea Ceremony Set – Double Happiness Gaiwans & Bowls
Other Name: 中式結婚茶具套裝,结婚敬茶茶具
This is a Chinese wedding tea set made for the wedding-day rituals — not for everyday brewing, but for the moments that matter on the day. Finished in auspicious Chinese red with traditional double happiness (囍) calligraphy, made in fine Dehua ceramic.
It includes two gaiwans, two bowls, two spoons, two pairs of chopsticks and a wooden tray — everything the couple needs for the tea offering and the sweet-dumpling custom that follow their vows.
The customs this set is for
The tea offering. The two gaiwans are for serving tea to the couple's parents and elders — the heart of a Chinese wedding. Offering tea this way expresses respect and gratitude, and welcomes each family into the other.
The sweet dumplings. The two bowls, spoons and chopsticks are for the custom of sharing sweet rice balls (tang yuan) or dumplings together. Round tang yuan symbolise togetherness and a complete, harmonious union; dumplings carry wishes for good fortune and children to come. The couple eat together as a sign of a sweet, united life ahead.
It's a meaningful set for the wedding day itself, and a keepsake the couple can hold onto for years — a beautiful gift for newlyweds, or for parents preparing the ceremony.
