A Cha Hai (茶海), also called a Gong Dao Bei (公道杯) or fairness cup, is the small pitcher you pour your brewed tea into so every cup is even in strength. This Cha Hai is made of fine Ru Kiln ceramic — known for its colour that shifts under different light, its silky texture, and the fascinating 'cicada-wing' crackle pattern that gives it an antique look over time. Ru Kiln is a relatively thick ceramic, so it holds heat well, and it can be used with any tea accessories.
