This is an artistic and classic Chinese Kung Fu gaiwan tea set made of Dehua fine China. The tea set includes 10 tea cups, 1 Gai-Wan, 1 tea strainer with holder and 1 tea server.
Kung Fu (Gong Fu) tea sets are traditionally used in China to brew and taste fine teas or used for tea ceremonies. A tea master or demonstrator is normally orchestrating the process, brewing fine teas with carefully selected tea variety/quality, water temperature in a serene environment. The tea is brewed with patience in the Gai-Wan, drained into the tea server through the tea strainer and served into the small tea cups to be teasted.
