This is a Pu-erh raw cake compressed in 2006 by Pu Wen (普文) Factory using tea leaves harvested from Pu Wen's own eco estate in Xi-Shuang-Ban-Na with all 1-3 grade spring leaves. This cake is know to use same leaves inside out (no mixing, covering or blending), single estate corp. It leaves are vibrant, full and strong. It brew is bright yellow in colour, with gently sweet flavor and fast and refreshing after taste.  It is a cake that won the silver prize during the 2007 China Pu-erh Tea Future Strategy Summit.

Please note:

  • This tea has been naturally aged since 2006, with a relative loose edge - a sign of an aged Pu-erh.
  • Due to their long term storage and the nature of thin paper wraping, most of the pu-erh teas as this would have some level of damage (eg. tear) to their packaging, which is NOT considered as faulty. (We however do offer some discount to those that the damage is considered to be severe enough to have caused the loss of tea.)damaged packaging
