Clarification of a few misconceptions about white tea:
- White tea is lightly fermented although it is ‘almost unprocessed’.
- White tea is NOT traditional tea with milk. Please do not try to add milk to the Chinese white tea – it does not taste right.
- ‘An Ji white tea’ is NOT a white tea. The reason ‘white tea’ is part of its name is because of its naturally relative white appearance. It is a premium Chinese green tea made using green tea making method and is unfermented.
