This tea canister is made of De-Hua white ceramic - one of the few Chinese most famous ceramic products. De-Hua (south-eastern China) is one of the three Chinese ceramic capitals. Its fine white ceramic production is a combined result of the high quality local clay and the crafting skills refined over a long manufacturing history. The unique white ceramic produced in this area is well known for: thin as egg shell (semi-transparent); smooth as ice; and yet as strong any other ceramics. The products are often of both practical and display value.
This semi-airtight canister is of small-medium size (280ml; 10.5X7cm), ideal for storing loose teas from opened satchels (25-50g)Â used at Valley Green Tea.
