Loose Pu-erh tea (raw)

Traditional raw Pu-erh tea made into loose tea form for convenience for those with a busy lifestyle or who would like to try out some Pu-erh tea without committing to purchasing a full cake.

Pu-erh tea is traditionally in a cake form that facilitates post-fermentation. This process increases its value as a result of smoother texture and richer flavor. Loose Pu-erh tea has relatively less value in this process, and therefore is more for consumption rather than collecting and aging.

For those tea drinkers who are used to drink green teas or teas that are not heavily fermented, raw Pu-erh is a good place to start, as it is closer to traditional green or white teas in many ways compared to ripened Pu-erh.
