Loose Pu-erh tea (ripened)

This vantage loose ripened pu-erh tea is produced from the premium forest leaves in 2008.  It has since been naturally aged and fermented for three years, yielding a super ripened Pu-erh’s aroma and smooth texture.

have a unique woody/earthy aroma. The more they are aged, the more they develop a floral fragrance and smooth texture, largely depending on the original quality of the tea leaves. It is very similar to premium wines in this regard.

For Pu-erh tea beginners however, a couple of recommendations will assist you to get started:

1. if you prefer teas that are not or lightly fermented, such as green or white tea, raw Pu-erh is more likely to be your taste
2. if you are more a black tea (fully fermented) or Oolong tea (semi-fermented) drinker, a ripened pu-erh is recommended.
