Our site is secure for  e-commerce transactions utilising an SSL certificate  supporting  256-bit encryption. This prevents credit card or other personal details being intercepted.

This certificate validates us as having a registered Australian Business Number (ABN) for the Australian registered company Valley Green Tea.

Options for ordering:

Orders can be placed as follows:

1/ Online (preferred)

Standard online registrations payment options include:

  • Visa, Bankcard & Master Card transactions.
  • PayPal.
  • Other payment options: direct bank transfer/purchase orders, money order, cash on delivery, or other can be setup upon special requests. 

2/ Phone Orders: 

Orders can be placed over the phone using same payment options as outlined above.

Please advise explicitly:

  • tea type, including quality grade where it is applicable (Medium, High or Extra High)
  • quantity of each product ordered
  • address for shipping 
We will reply your inquiry with a quote and available payment methods within 24 hours.

Shipping period and cost:

We choose Australia Post to ship most orders. We obtain a quote from the Aus Post site for the total contents of the shopping cart and display this during check-out.

We use TNT for large orders and will quote and advise where this option offers an advantage.

A typical order of 1 or 2 items would cost between $4 to $6 dollars within Australia, ($6-$8 dollars to NZ). We have not chosen to  offer free shipping  (&  bump up the basic price to cover shipping as some other sites do).  We can offer better value to a greater number of customers by reflecting true shipping costs. 

We do however offer free shipping  for orders greater then $200

Normal shipping period for Sydney and metropolitan areas is 2-3 working days

  • 3-5 working days for the rest of Australia.

  • 3-5 working days to NZ by Air Mail.  

Privacy Policy:

Our site's has a registration process that requires registered customers to give us contact information (name, email address and postal address details). The customer's contact information is used to contact when necessary to clarify order details.

Under no circumstances do we share your information with third parties.

Refund Policy: 

You may return any product ordered on this web site within 21 days from the date of receipt by sending the product back the following address:

We will, at your request, give you a refund (via a credit to the credit card you used to purchase the returned product) or ship replacement product of the same type as the returned product.


Please include the following with your return: (a) a copy of the invoice; (b) a brief explanation as to the reason for the return; and (c) a statement indicating whether you would prefer a refund or replacement product.

Shipping costs incurred by you in returning any product will be reimbursed to you (via a credit to the credit card you used to purchase the returned product) only if the product is being returned because we erroneously shipped you the wrong product or because the product is defective.
